Challenge

For their 10th anniversary, Rod’s House was preparing to increase their presence in the Yakima community and desired a fresh brand to go along with this impact. Mindful of their funding, Rod’s House applied for Field Group’s Create for a Cause event.

Goal

Develop a brand that reflects Rod’s House’s values and strikes a balance between approachable and professional.

Strategy

Field Group brainstormed how Rod’s House could be best represented by their brand. From this brainstorming session and meeting with the Rod’s House team, we landed on a fun, rainbow color palette and utilized a mix of crisp but approachable fonts. The Rod’s House team fell in love with the very first logo, and Field Group continued to create full brand guidelines, helping them identify how to use their color-heavy brand in a way that would be clean and eye-catching.

Outcome

Rod’s House’s new branding and outreach strategy launched them in the public eye. They quickly debuted their new logo and the 10th anniversary version alongside new handouts, a website, and other newly branded materials. The heightened community awareness has allowed them to expand their services, team, and buildings to help more youth.
