Bad Jokes. Great Doctors.

Challenge

While most family medicine clinicians can provide pediatric services, pediatricians specialize in treating children. Yakima Neighborhood Health Services wanted a fun and engaging campaign to highlight the number of pediatric specialists they employ to serve our community.

Strategy

To create a campaign that differs from competitors and stands out from typical “provider” ads. FG developed ads for theater, digital, radio, print, billboards, and flyers, showcasing the pediatric doctors of Yakima Neighborhood Health Services. A kid-friendly joke was prominent in each of the ads, making the doctors more relatable, capturing the audiences attention, and improving ad retention.

Goal

To increase the number of pediatric patients served by Yakima Neighborhood Health Services and reach young, expecting mothers in a memorable way by highlighting Yakima Neighborhood Health Services’ pediatric doctors.

Outcome

There was a significant increase in pediatric patients over the course of the campaign. The campaign was subsequently used as a recruitment tool, including digital ads for conferences, flyers, and retractable banners which helped improved brand recognition.
